Here is something most language schools will not tell you: the majority of Colombian adults who want to improve their English already know more than they give themselves credit for.
Years of school English, exposure to movies and music, apps they downloaded and eventually abandoned.
The vocabulary is somewhere in there. What gets in the way is not knowledge, it is confidence and the lack of real practice with someone who can actually correct you.
Colombia’s job market is making English harder to avoid, too. Bogotá, Medellín, and Cartagena have seen significant growth in multinational companies, BPO and tech industries, tourism, and remote work opportunities with international clients.
In a lot of these environments, English is not a bonus on your CV anymore, it is a baseline expectation.
Group classes meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm Colombia time, specifically designed to work around a full day at the office or university.
Each course covers 30 academic hours across structured CEFR levels, starting wherever you currently are, from absolute beginner A1.1 all the way up to upper-intermediate B2.3.
If you have never taken a formal assessment before, a short pre-course placement test makes sure you land in the right group from day one.
Prefer learning at your own pace? Private 1-on-1 sessions are available with completely flexible scheduling, so you work with your tutor around your life, not the other way around.
